The Rule Of Thirds

The rule of thirds is a concept used in photography. This rule is used to frame shots in a way that improves the quality of the image. This rule emphasizes subjects, and creates a better looking image.
To frame a shot using the rule of thirds, one must picture a 3 by 3 grid. then you must try to place subjects or points of interest on one of the four intersections of this grid. I try to place my horizon along the top or bottom horizontal line. This rule helps to create more visually appealing images.
